Honolulu Pearl accepts members year around. All you need to do is to show up at our practices and introduce yourself. You can try the club and paddling several times to see if you enjoy it. We do recommend though starting earlier in the season (February through March) as the practices picks up speed very fast. As the season progress, the practices gets more intense.
Nevertheless, Hawaiian outrigger canoe paddling is a fantastic exercise and one of the greatest sport you can enjoy in Hawaii. We invite you to come and enjoy it with Honolulu Pearl.
Honolulu Pearl is open to anyone. Do to our location, we have many members fromthe military. Although this gives an impression that Honolulu Pearl is a military club, in reality we accept anyone and you do not need to be associated to the federal government. If you have any questions regarding membership, please send us a message using the Contact Us page or email us directly at HonoluluPearlCanoeClub@gmail.com.
